There's Just No Work:
When asked why she's not working, Anna says; "there's just no work, I'd love to have a job." So she's out looking everyday. In the meantime, she gets help from a local food pantry. Some financial help comes from her family, but trying to make every last cent count, means getting help with food. Anna feels like her family is being hit from every direction. Looking for work costs more because of the price of gas has increased so drastically. "Everything costs more," she says. Anna and her family appreciate the help they receive from the pantry and want everyone to know they appreciate your support of The Foodbank too. |

It's harder to make ends meet when your husband works seasonally and it’s the dead of winter in Dayton. Add to that three small children and no job of your own and feeding a family of five is a real challenge.
